Oopsie Bread

Assalamualaikum ...

... have you heard of this bread - Oopsie Bread ( quiet known to Atkiners )... trust me ... so so sedappp ... but provided if you know how to make it *__^

... saya diperkenalkan dgn 'roti' ini bila salah seorang kawan dan juga repeat customer saya meminta saya utk membuatnya kerana dia sedang mengamalkan diet 'ATKINS' ... apa itu diet Atkins .. errr - sila google for now ya cos' akak tak sempat nak bercerita lebih panjang di sini ... hehhehe .. soweyyy ...

... jom layan gambarnya - sebelum tu ... i have to remind myself ...whatever new recipes i was asked to do ... kindly do the research first ...... pleaseeee ... jangan harap sangat resepi dari blog orang kita yang diadaptasi dari website omputih sebab ... disaster i tell you..!!  esp. kalau you ikut bulat2 resepinya ... well, so sad  to say ... i was very disappointed recently ... becos' of this Oopsie Bread yang tak menjadi lansung bila 1st time membuatnya dan saya kerugian 300gm cream cheese dan 9 biji telur AA ..! ... tak pe la - lesson to be learned ... bila second time my friend repeat order ( alhamdulillah - Juli masih percaya pada saya ) .. it turned perfecto..! Juli kata ... Kak Aza .... best gilerrrr .... ( petikan dari wassapnya ) ...

This is my version of the recipe

3 large eggs
100gm cream cheese ( Tatura/Phil )
1/2 tspn baking powder ( optional )
1/8 tspn cream of tartar ( optional )
1/2 tspn vanilla essence / pandan essence

Separate the eggs, with the egg whites in one bowl and the egg yolks in another.
Whip the egg whites together with the salt until very stiff. You should be able to turn the bowl over without the egg whites moving.
Mix the egg yolks and the cream cheese well. If you choose, 1tsp of cream of tarter or baking powder (this makes the Oopsie more bread-like).
Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mix – try to keep the air in the egg whites.
Put 6 large or 8 smaller oopsies on a baking tray.
Bake in the middle of the oven at 150° C (300° F) for about 25 minutes – until they turn golden.

You can eat Oopsies as bread or use them as a bun for a hotdog or hamburger. You can also put different kinds of seeds on them before baking them, for instance poppy, sesame or sunflower seeds.
